Open Innovation, Shared Future | New Zealand entrepreneurs, Dean Zhou of the School of Life Sciences at Northeast Normal University, and a delegation from the Jilin Business Wang Family Committee visited Jilin Qiwei Biotechnology Co., Ltd. for a visit and inspection

On July 13, 2024, Jilin Qiwei Biotechnology Co., Ltd. welcomed distinguished guests—New Zealand entrepreneurs Mark and Michelle, Executive Dean of the China-New Zealand Business School Michelle, and Professor Zhou Yifa from the College of Life Sciences of Northeast Normal University, along with others. Jilin businessman Wang Zhongming, president of the Wang Family Business Committee, and others accompanied them, while Jilin Qiwei's General Manager Yang Liyong and his management team hosted them.

Mark and Michelle have been in New Zealand for over 20 years. They are organizing the 2024 "China-New Zealand Painting Exchange" Changbai Mountain art sketching tour in Jilin. This is the first youth art exchange delegation to be named "Hello! China" by the Chinese Ministry of Culture and Tourism following Premier Li Qiang's visit to New Zealand on June 14th of this year. During their visit to Changchun, Jilin, they were invited to visit and exchange ideas with Qiwei. After learning about Qiwei's full range of products, they highly praised the company's professional management and rich product offerings, and expressed strong interest in cooperation in the biotechnology field between China and New Zealand, as well as mutual learning among entrepreneurs.

Professor Zhou Yifa, Dean of the College of Life Sciences and doctoral supervisor at Northeast Normal University, is dedicated to the research of the structure and function of carbohydrate compounds. He has extensive international research experience and continues to play a leading role in the research field after returning to China. His academic achievements and contributions have had a profound impact on China's biochemistry field. After a comprehensive understanding of Qiwei, Professor Zhou stated that future collaboration between universities and enterprises and the transformation of scientific research achievements could be further linked to promote the development of pharmaceutical companies in Jilin Province and make more outstanding contributions to society and the nation.
